Report: Union Ridge School District spent $11,527 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Union Ridge School District 86 was down 0.7 percent from five years ago, according to the North Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $11,612 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,527 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 662 to 661 students over the same period.

Union Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 20.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
