The Real Estate Center at DePaul University, along with participation from the Real Estate Investment Association (REIA) and CoreNet Global|Chicago Chapter, surveyed more than 500 commercial real estate professionals to produce the 4th annual Chicago Mid-Year Perspective on Commercial Real Estate report. The survey measured the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Chicago real estate along with long term economic problems affecting the industry such as state and local tax policy. It also gauged the strength and weakness of various real estate assets such as industrial, multifamily, indoor malls and hotels.
