Analysis: Rolling Meadows pays $6.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Rolling Meadows Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 87.1 percent of the $3,994,160 the Rolling Meadows Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $6.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Rolling Meadows contributed $3,480,637 to the fund, which saw a $101,379 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $505,917, or 12.7 percent, in 2018. Another $7,606 came from other unspecified sources.
