Evanston Township High School District 202 recently issued the following announcement.
The Illinois 5Essentials Survey is now available for District 65 families! We find the information collected as part of the statewide survey to be extremely valuable. We use this survey as a tool to reflect on progress made since last school year so that we can continue to improve our schools and create an even better environment for teaching and learning.
To take the 10-minute survey, please visit https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/. If at least 20 percent of parents from each school complete the survey, a parent supplement will be generated. We would like to thank our parents/caregivers, students, educators, and school administrators for their participation and insight they provided as part of last year’s survey. There was an increase in parent participation in over 13 schools, as a result 7 schools received parent reports that did not in the past. We hope to build on this progress in the coming year!
Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child. Survey reports will be sent to district and school administrators in March and results will be included in the State School Report Card in the fall.
The survey window will open for students and staff on December 10 and will remain open through February 14, 2020. The student portion of the survey is open to fourth through eighth grade students. Time will be set aside for students to complete the survey during this window. More information will be forthcoming regarding the student survey component.
