A. RESOLUTION NO. 2019-66
A Resolution Recognizing James A. Karagianis for Twenty-six Years of Service as a Village Trustee
Trustee Karagianis was presented with a Resolution recognizing his years of service.
Trustee Karagianis stated that this was a bitter sweet moment and thanked the Village of Northbrook for this recognition.
B. RESOLUTION NO. 2019-67
A Resolution Recognizing A.C. Buehler III for Thirty-One Years of Services as a Village Official
Trustee Buehler was presented with a Resolution recognizing his years of service. Trustee Buehler thanked the Village of Northbrook for this recognition.
C. Special Recognitions
5. REMARKS FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
Mike Scolaro, Northbrook, thanked both Trustee Karagianis and Trustee Buehler for their years of service.
Gene Marks, Northbrook, thanked the Trustees for their services.
Trustee Ciesla stated that the leadership that Trustee Buehler showed on the Board, shows his roots in the community and that he has dedicated his life to Northbrook. She also spoke about Trustee Karagianis’ brave leadership, along with endless amounts of creativity and ideas. She will miss both Trustees.
Trustee Israel echoes what Trustee Ciesla stated. But did state that Jim's knowledge and background on properties and developments, has been outstanding and educational. He is grateful to Trustee Buehler for the time he gave to Student Government Day each year.
Trustee Collison stated that she is very appreciative of Trustee Buehler and Trustee Karagianis service and she will miss them.
Trustee Han stated that he will always admire Trustee Buehler’s consistency and focus on safety and pride in the Village of Northbrook. Trustee Karagianis' sense of humor always made him feel welcome and he always wanted the best for the Village.
President Frum stated that tonight is a bittersweet night, welcoming two new Trustees and saying goodbye to two Trustees. She will sincerely miss working with both Trustee Buehler and Trustee Karagianis. Northbrook was lucky to have both Trustees on the Board.
