The campaign committee of committeeman candidate Louis I. Lang, Citizens for Lou Lang, returned a $250 contribution from Painters District Council 30 on April 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor or because contribution limits have been reached. Painters District Council 30 has not made any other contributions to Louis I. Lang in the past 12 months.
