The campaign committee of committeeman candidate Louis I. Lang, Citizens for Lou Lang, returned a $200 contribution from Dan Shomon, Inc. on April 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor or because contribution limits have been reached. Dan Shomon, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Louis I. Lang in the past 12 months.
