Cook County board of review member candidate Dan Patlak returns $1,250 contribution from Law Offices of Gary H. Smith

The campaign committee of Cook County board of review member candidate Dan Patlak, Citizens For Dan Patlak, returned a $1,250 contribution from Law Offices of Gary H. Smith on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Law Offices of Gary H. Smith has not made any other contributions to Dan Patlak in the past 12 months.
