The campaign committee of state representative candidate Mary Rita Luecke, Friends of Mary Rita Luecke, returned a $250 contribution from Tom Walsh on May 18, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Walsh has not made any other contributions to Mary Rita Luecke in the past 12 months.
