How did Matt Murphy spend campaign funds in the first quarter?

Republican Matt Murphy's election campaign committee, Citizens for Matt Murphy, spent $5,636 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Murphy's committee spent the most on food and beverage for fundraiser in the quarter, with all those payments ($2,268) going to Inverness Country Club in Palatine. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Murphy's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
