Report: Union Ridge spent $11,066 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Union Ridge School District 86 is down 10.3 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,343 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,066 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 642 to 662.

Union Ridge's spending in 2017-18 was 17 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
