Report: Palatine spent $12,892 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Palatine Community Consolidated School District 15 is up 6.8 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,070 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,892 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 12812 to 12431.

Palatine's spending in 2017-18 was 3.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
