City of Des Plaines Police Department recently issued the following announcement.
The Des Plaines Police Department is currently accepting applications for school Crossing Guards (and Substitute Crossing Guards) to work 1-3 hours a day, Monday through Friday, as needed.
Crossing Guards prepare crossing zones, assist children in crossing streets safely, and acts as a liaison for the Police Department with students, parents, and school personnel.
