State House race: Democrat Gong-Gershowitz wins voter tally in New Trier Township

Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz led Republican Peter Lee in votes cast in New Trier Township for the District 17 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Gong-Gershowitz appeared to outpace Lee by a margin of 36.4 percent on Tuesday in the township.
