Mark Walker of the Democratic party has been declared the winner in the House District 53 race against Republican candidate Eddie Corrigan.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Walker had 52 percent of the vote with a total of 23,005 votes.
Corrigan received 48 percent of the vote with a total of 21,247 votes.
