Avoca School District 37 issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
What a great first day of the new school year! The sky may have broken open this morning during student arrivals, but none of the children seemed to let that dampen their spirits.
Our kids came to school full of energy and excitement, which quickly rubbed off on everyone around them!
I am a big believer in “streaks,” and if today is any indication the Avoca School District just got off on a winning streak to start the 2018-2019 school year!
