Madigan spends $71K in July to boost Rolling Meadows Democrat State House hopeful Trevor

Illinois House Speaker and Democrat Party Chairman Michael J. Madigan (D-Chicago) has reported $71,788 in July contributions to Maggie Trevor, a Democrat running for the Illinois House of Representatives against incumbent Rep. Tom Morrison (R-Palatine).

The total reflects payments made through July 22.

Payments in support of the campaign included one totaling $27,000 on July 13 for polling. Two more, for $24,134 on July 13 and $20,654 on July 21, were to a printer in Philadelphia, as reported by the Illinois Democratic Party to the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Trevor raised $7,933 in the second quarter from non-Madigan contributors, according to her June 30 ISBE filing
