The public is invited to attend A Panel of Experts: Responding to Islam in the Chicago suburbs this weekend.
The first panel will convene at 7 p.m. today at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, the panel will meet at the Grace for Life Church in Naperville. And at 6 p.m. Sunday, the Stone Church in Orland Park will host the group.
The panel will include Philip Haney, a counter-terrorism expert and the founding member of the Department of Homeland Security, as well as the author of "See Something, Say Nothing"; Anni Cyrus, who was a child bride and abused spouse in her homeland of Iran; and Samya Johnson, who survived the civil war in Lebanon.
