Schaumburg Park District issued the following announcement on June 6.
Join in on the fun at Schaumburg Park District’s Summer Picnic!
SPD Summer Picnic, sponsored by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, is set
for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., June 19 at Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth Road.
Bring the whole family and enjoy unlimited use of the pool, an interactive DJ, face painting, games and great food.
“Our Summer Picnic is a fun way for families to spend the evening out by the pool,” said Heather Hagstrom, aquatics supervisor. “Children love playing games splashing around in the pool.”
Admission is $5 per person and includes all activities, choice of a hot
dog or brat, chips and a drink. Registration is not required.
