Cost of college went up for all students at National Louis University

Tuition and fees rose 0.6 percent for 2017-18 at National Louis University, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $10,440 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $60 more than the $10,380 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 75 students received grants or scholarships totaling $655,877 and 34 students took out student loans totaling more than $118,779.

Including all undergraduates, 920 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.99 million. Another 855 took out $7.91 million in federal student loans.
