About 68.5 percent of the 2,446 degrees and certificates handed out by the American InterContinental University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Schaumburg conferred 857 bachelor's degrees and 438 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 787 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 428 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 381 associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.
The university enrolled 10,091 students for 2016-17, including 9,048 in undergraduate programs and 1,043 in graduate programs.
