Analysis: Rolling Meadows pays $6.57 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Rolling Meadows Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 87 percent of the $3,568,593 the Rolling Meadows Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $6.57 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Rolling Meadows contributed $3,104,921 to the fund, which saw a $560,951 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $472,132, or 13.2 percent, in 2016.
