Analysis: Prospect Heights pays $3.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Prospect Heights Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.8 percent of the $908,463 the Prospect Heights Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Prospect Heights contributed $715,486 to the fund, which saw a $55,656 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $194,884, or 21.5 percent, in 2016.
