Analysis: Glenview pays $3.07 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Glenview Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 74.8 percent of the $3,340,450 the Glenview Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.07 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Glenview contributed $2,497,041 to the fund, which saw a $4,959,190 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $812,961, or 24.3 percent, in 2016. Another $30,448 came from other unspecified sources.
