Analysis: Glencoe pays $4.59 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Glencoe Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.1 percent of the $1,902,955 the Glencoe Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.59 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Glencoe contributed $1,562,863 to the fund, which saw a $102,996 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $340,092, or 17.9 percent, in 2016.
