A-17-128 Ordinance – Approval of 2018 Non-Union Employee Pay Plan
Request the Board approve an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2-2 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF STREAMWOOD, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.” This Ordinance is being presented for second reading and passage.
This Ordinance establishes 2018 salary ranges for the eight job categories affecting non-union Village employees.

Request the Board approve the semi-monthly expenditures in the amount of $1,514,293.59 which represents the total of the schedule of bills dated December 21, 2017.

I-17-001 Information Item – GFOA Financial Reporting Award
The Village of Streamwood has been awarded the Certificate for Achievement in Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for our Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This Certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment. The Village’s CAFR was judged by an impartial panel and found to demonstrate a spirit of full disclosure and transparency. This is the 29th consecutive year that the Village has received this prestigious award.

A-17-132 Ordinance – Amending Personnel Manual
Request the Board approve an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF STREAMWOOD AMENDING THE PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL.” This Ordinance is being presented for first reading and posting.
This Ordinance makes changes to the Village’s Personnel Manual to ensure compliance with recent state mandates regarding anti-harassment, child bereavement leave, victim’s rights and changes to non-union employee benefits upon retirement.

A-17-130 Ordinance – Approval of Disposal of Surplus Equipment
Request the Board approve an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY PUBLIC AUCTION, PRIVATE SALE, OR TRANSFER OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF STREAMWOOD.” This Ordinance is being presented for second reading and passage.
This Ordinance approves declaring various items surplus and authorizing the disposal of these items by private sale, auction, trade-in, donation or to otherwise discard them at the least cost to the Village.
A-17-133 Resolution – Approval of 1750 GPM Stainless Steel Pumper Fire Truck
Request the Board approve a Resolution entitled “A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO ATTEST TO A CERTAIN CONTRACT WITH SEAGRAVE FIRE APPARATUS, LLC FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 1750 GPM STAINLESS STEEL PUMPER FIRE TRUCK.”
This Resolution approves a contract for the purchase of a 1750 GPM Stainless Steel Pumper Fire Truck from FWD Seagrave Fire Apparatus, LLC, Clintonville, Wisconsin at a cost of $589,519. Funds to purchase this vehicle are available in the Equipment Replacement Fund in the 2018 Budget.

A-17-134 Motion – Compact Track Loader (Skid Steer) Purchase
Request the Board approve a Motion authorizing the purchase of one 2017 New Holland C238 compact track loader (skid steer) at a cost not to exceed $64,504.64 from Martin Implement Sales Industries.
This Motion approves the purchase of a 2017 New Holland C238 Compact Track Loader (skid steer) from Martin Implement Sales Industries, 420 Nolen Drive, South Elgin, IL at a cost of $64,504.64. This replaces a 1992 Case Skid Steer which was declared surplus and sent to auction. Funds to purchase this vehicle are available in the Equipment Replacement Fund in the 2017 Budget.
