The calls in Bartlett included 84 fires - 40 structure fires, 10 vehicle fires and 28 other fires. The fire department also responded to six calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $881,220 in fire loss - or about $10,491 per fire.
The department also received 371 false calls, including 22 malicious calls and 349 other false calls.
The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries. Additionally, two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents and two were injured in non fire-related incidents.
The Bartlett FPD Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 43 active employees and nine retired or inactive employees, was $594,155 in debt as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $7,073 for every fire in 2016.
