A-17-093 Ordinance – Amendment to Title 5, Motor Vehicles and Traffic of the Village Code
Request the Board approve An Ordinance Amendment Entitled ”An Ordinance Amending Section 5-1-1 Entitled “Illinois Vehicle Code” Of Chapter 1 Entitled “General Traffic Regulations” And Chapter 7 Entitled “Impoundment Of Motor Vehicles Used In The Commission Of Certain Offenses” Of Title 5 Entitled “Motor Vehicles And Traffic” Of The Village Code Of The Village Of Streamwood.” This Ordinance is being presented for second reading and passage.
This Ordinance Amendment automatically adopts amendments to the Illinois Vehicle Code and modifies the Village’s Impoundment of Motor Vehicle ordinance to impound motor vehicles used for local ordinance offenses of driving while license suspended and no valid driver’s license.

A-17-099 Resolution – Final Acceptance / Remington Ridge Subdivision
Request the Board approve a Resolution entitled “A Resolution Approving Final Acceptance Of Installation Of Public Improvements For The Property Commonly Known As Remington Ridge Subdivision.”
The Resolution accepts the public improvements, including a street, streetlights, landscaping, water and storm sewer systems, installed as part of Remington Ridge Subdivision.

Request the Board approve a Resolution entitled “A Resolution Regarding The Review Of Closed Session Minutes.”
This Resolution approves the Village Clerk to keep certain closed session minutes confidential.

A-17-097 Ordinance – Amendment to the Fire Protection Code
Request the Board approve an Ordinance Amendment entitled “An Ordinance Amending Title 6, Entitled “Fire Protection,” Of The Village Code Of The Village Of Streamwood, Cook County, Illinois By Adding Thereto Chapter 5.” This Ordinance is being presented for second reading and passage.
This Ordinance Amendment adopts the National Board Inspection Code and modifies Title 6 – Fire Protection of the Village’s Municipal Code requiring a carbon dioxide alarm in any enclosed area with equipment supplied by liquid carbon dioxide.

A-17-101 Resolution – Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement / Cook County Department of Public Health
Request the Board approve a Resolution entitled “A Resolution Approving And Authorizing The Village President To Execute On Behalf Of The Village Of Streamwood An Intergovernmental Agreement With Cook County For Health Inspection Services.”
This Resolution approves an Intergovernmental Agreement with Cook County to provide health and sanitation inspections at various establishments in the Village. The total cost for this service is estimated at $26,000.00 per year, which is fully reimbursed through an establishment’s business license.
