Mike Koffski, a Jefferson Park resident known for his strong focus on community service, has been named precinct committeeman for Ward 45, Precinct 25, for the Northwest Side GOP Club, according to a press release.

"I have lived in Chicago my entire life, growing up in Galewood and then moving to Edison Park in high school,” Koffski said in a statement. “My wife and I moved into Jefferson Park in 2008 where we raise our three children together. I have worked for the Village of Glenview as a 911 dispatcher for 13 years, a job that I very much enjoy. I am very invested in my local community and hope to see it thrive for many years to come."

Northwest Side GOP Club Chair Matt Podgorski, who is also the 39th Ward committeeman, appointed Koffski to the position. In a release on his appointment, the club called Koffski a natural leader who will help the club as it works to reduce wasteful spending in the city and the state as a whole.
