Maine West girls basketball camps hit the hardwood

The ladies at Maine West are picking up basketballs and hitting the courts for some intense camps this summer.

Maine West is offering two separate basketball camps, ranging from grades four to 12, as well as an invite-only basketball league this summer.

The first camp is for fourth- through eighth grade-grade girls on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from June 13 to 29. It runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and costs $125 to sign up.

The second is for ninth through 12th graders, taking place Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. June 6 to 29. It costs $135 to join.

The invite-only league runs from 5:15 to 11 p.m. June 6 to 29, but no sign up price has been determined yet.
