The boys at Maine West High School are hitting the baseball diamond this summer for the chance to refine their skills.
Signups are open for four separate Maine West baseball camps in June. Two are open for grades 6-9, and two invite only leagues.
The first two are broken up into two brackets: sixth and seventh graders and eighth and ninth graders. Both are on the Varsity/Frosh Baseball Diamonds, and run from Monday through Thursday, from June 12 to 22. It costs $108 to sign up. The younger group group will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and the second will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The invite-only leagues cost $190 to sign up, and run from June 12 to July 13. One is for varsity, and the other for sophomores.
