Park Ridge electoral board rules on preliminary matters

The city of Park Ridge Municipal Officers Electoral Board met Jan. 9 to rule on preliminary matters.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the board:

ELECTORAL BOARD OPEN MEETINGS ACT 

NOTICE OF ELECTORAL BOARD MEETING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Marty Maloney, Chairman; Betty Henneman, City Clerk; and Roger Shubert, Alderman; constituting the Municipal Officers Electoral Board for the hearing and passing upon of objections to nomination papers for candidates for election to the office of 6th Ward Alderman of the City of Park Ridge, Cook County, Illinois to be voted upon by electors of said Municipality at the Consolidated Election to be held April 4, 2017, will hold a meeting of the Municipal Officers Electoral Board.

The Municipal Officers Electoral Board shall meet on Monday, January 9, 2017, at 8:00 a.m., at the City of Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place, Park Ridge, IL 60068, for the purpose of hearing and passing upon said objections to certain nomination papers for candidate for 6th Ward Alderman. This meeting has been continued from the initial meeting called on December 30, 2016.

The agenda for the meeting will be:

(3) Introduction by Chairman

(4) Approval of MOEB Draft Meeting Minutes - December 30, 2016

(5) Continue Call of the Docket Case 2017-MOEB-01 Mazzuca v. DeStefano

(6) Rulings on Preliminary Matters, if filed

(7) Report on Cook County Records Exam

(8) Hearing on Case 2017-MOEB-01

(9) Decision on Case 2017-MOEB-01

(10) Public Comment

(11) Recess or Adjournment
