Northbrook Economic Development Committee gathers to consider business, taxing updates

The Northbrook Economic Development Committee met at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13.

The Economic Development Committee consists of representatives from the local taxing districts (the local elementary and high school districts, the Park District, the Village and the Public Library), the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, local business owners and managers, and members of the community at large. Each taxing district and the Chamber of Commerce appoint their individuals members, while the Village President, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, appoints the other members.
