Prospect Heights Zoning Board considers two variance requests

 At a recent meeting, the Prospect Heights Planning and Zoning Board heard two homeowners' variance requests concerning the construction of a garage and the widening of a driveway.

The Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals prepares and recommends changes in the official comprehensive plan and map of the city as may be deemed necessary by the City Council. It also prepares and recommends to the City Council plans and recommendations for specific improvements in pursuance of the official comprehensive plan and map. It also reviews development applications, special-use and variance requests, and other matters related to land use within the city.
