The Glenview Planning Commission met on March 8 to hold public hearings on both the 2200 Tanglewood Drive and 3036 N. Lake Terrace proposals.

The public hearing for Masterson Ales at 1516 E. Lake Ave. was continued to the March 22 meeting.

The Valley Lo Club, located at 220 Tanglewood Drive, previously received approval from the commission to demolish part of the existing building and add a new pool, pool house and other amenities. The applicant has changed the site plan and requires approval before proceeding to the board of trustees for final approval. The applicant is requesting removal of the parking lot improvements. Currently, the parking lot is not conforming with the village ordinances.

The Glen Auto Sales Inc. has requested a conditional use permit in order to conduct auto sales at 3036 N. Lake Terrace. This is an existing tenant space in an I-2 Light Industrial District. Auto sales are a B-3 General Service. The owner has an auto body shop in an adjacent space. Up to nine vehicles will be stored inside the 3,000-square-foot showroom. Business hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and by appointment Saturday. The vehicles will be marketed online, in the classified section and by word of mouth; the only signage will be on the entry door.
