Online survey asks for input on future Human Services, library and community programs.

The Community Connections Center is asking Village of Mount Prospect residents to complete an online survey regarding Human Services and Public Library programs and services.

The survey is available online until March 31 in English and Spanish.

The five-minute survey asks residents what health and human services, education, employment, recreation and safety and law enforcement programs would interest residents. Within those categories, choices for health and human services and education include computer classes, English as a second language, health screenings and health topics. Art, book clubs and a soccer club are among the choices for recreation. Under safety and law enforcement, the survey asks if residents would be interested in car seat safety checks, safe driving tips and home safety topics.

In addition to asking about the community's interest in various programs, the survey seeks to understand what would prevent residents from utilizing the services and programs. There is also a section where residents can comment or suggest other programs. While the survey is anonymous, residents can choose to add contact information in order to participate in a future focus group.
