Mount Prospect Planning & Zoning Commission to review code variations, permits at upcoming meeting

Several final decisions will be determined at the Mount Prospect Planning & Zoning meeting on Thursday, Feb. 25.

Several final decisions will be determined at the Mount Prospect Planning & Zoning meeting on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The final hearings on several cases will be heard at the Village of Mount Prospect Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25.

The commission will hear the cases in the Village Board Room of Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson St.

Case PZ-28-15, concerning 1914 W. Golf Road, will have its final hearing with the commission. Applicant George Apergis applied for a variation to the rear yard setback.

Case PZ-03-16 -- Andy's Frozen Custard at 205 E. Rand Road -- is also up for the final hearing with the commission regarding the sign variation requests. Other variations, including the conditional use permit for a drive-through and variations for a parking lot setback and lighting are up for the village board's approval.

Also up for board approval is case PZ-03-16. Nicholas & Associates Inc. applied for a conditional use permit for an indoor ice arena at 1501 Feehanville Drive.

After hearing public comments and holding a question-and-answer period, the meeting will be adjourned.

The Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The next commission meeting, if necessary, will be held on March 10.
