Village of Schaumburg seeks public input on transportation needs

Busstop

The Public Transportation Survey is now available to the residents of Schaumburg, Illinois.

The Village is seeking information from its residents about public transportation use, needs and possible changes. With the public's assistance the Village can consider changes in public transportation services to better meet the residents' needs and expectations. Among the goals of the Village is increasing ridership and improving the public's awareness of public transportation.

The brief survey is available online at http://goo.gl/forms/rcAqslzuNm. Paper copies are available at the Transportation Department, located in the lower level of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Ct. The survey is due by December 18.

The 2014 National Citizen Survey identified transit awareness as an issue that the Village should address to improve its services to its residents. Residents who have questions regarding the survey can contact Transportation Manager Richard Bascomb at rbascomb@villageofschaumburg.com or by calling 847-932-3862.
