Regular meeting of the Wheeling President and board of trustees rescheduled

The Village of Wheeling, Illinois regular board meeting to be held today at 6:30 p.m.

The agenda of the upcoming meeting in the Wheeling Village Hall Board Room at 2 Community Blvd. includes the Proclamations for National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month for December and Terry Steilen Day on November 24.

Citizen concerns and comments will be taken before staff reports and the Consent Agenda.

The consent agenda includes the termination of the intergovernmental agreement for the specialized teams of the Lake and McHenry Counties Fire Departments and amending the Wheeling Municipal Code Title 2, Chapter 2.25 which affects purchases, contracts and bidding procedures.

Under new business, items to be discussed and possibly acted upon include two ordinances regarding a transmission tower at 221. S. Wolf Rd., the municipal code regarding fees, Title 13 "Water and Sewers" regarding a stormwater utility fee, an agreement with Municipal Collection Services, Inc., the amount of the FY 2015 tax levy, disposal of Wheeling personal property, a contract with R.W. Collins Co. and a proposal with Monroe Truck Equipment for upgrades to five salt vehicles.

The FY 2016-2020 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) summary will be presented.

After the approval of October 29 to November 18 bills, the board may retire to an executive session. Afterwards, action will be taken on the session's items if necessary before the meeting is adjourned.
