The bimonthly meeting of the Village of Northbrook Senior Services Commission is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday at Northbrook Village Hall's Terrace Conference Room, 1225 Cedar Lane. Aside from reviewing the Sept. 10 minutes, the chairman and manager will both present reports.

Northbrook Bicycle Task Force meeting tonight
The Village of Northbrook's Bicycle Task Force meets 7-9 p.m. today in the Village Hall's second-floor Terrace Conference Room. The task force seeks to make the village more bicycle-friendly by improving access to bicycle transportation, coordinating bicycle-related initiatives and presenting recommendations to the Village Board.
