In the waning days of this campaign season, with just two weeks before Election Day, Jillian Bernas, Republican candidate for the  District 56 state House seat, which includes Schaumburg, recently posted a video on her Facebook page about the “political games played in Springfield and why legislation that has wide public approval never makes it into law.”

Mel Thillens, Republican candidate for the District 28 state Senate seat, recently wrote a post on Facebook regarding Streator resident David Cooke's case against Illinois Auditor General Frank Mautino.

Vince Kolber, who has called the Fifth Congressional District home his entire adult life, is seeking to represent his home district by running for Congress.
