3. DISCUSSION TOPICS
A. Presentation of Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Board Communication Letter, Management Letter, and Overview of Financial Results for Fiscal Year Ended April 30, 2025
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Management Letter will be reviewed as part of the independent audit performed by Lauterbach & Amen LLP under the first year of a three year contract. The Village is required to file the audit with the State six months after fiscal year end, or October 31, 2025.
B. Presentation and Discussion of the Annual Police and Firefighters' Pension Fund Valuations as of May 1, 2025 (April 30, 2025).
The Village of Northbrook, pursuant to Chapter 2, Article VI of the Municipal Code has established the Firefighters' Pension Fund and Police Pension Fund as required by State Statute. Each year the Village receives an independent actuarial analysis for both Pension Plans.
