Residents of the 20th District are invited to participate in a free electronics and recycling event hosted by Illinois State Representative Brad Stephens. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the F.H. Paschen Building Parking Lot in Chicago.
Community members can bring old electronics for recycling, safely dispose of prescription medications (excluding liquids or sharps), and shred up to two grocery bags of documents. Services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Ready to declutter? Join me at my FREE Recycle & Shred Event on Saturday, September 6th, from 9-11 a.m. at the F.H. Paschen Building Parking Lot in Chicago," said Rep. Stephens.
Stephens was elected as a Republican representative to the Illinois State House in 2019, taking over from Michael P. McAuliffe as the representative for the state's 20th House District.
