Winnetka School District 36: How many students met or exceeded expectations in Math in 2022-23 school year?

In the 2022-23 school year, 70.3% of the students in Winnetka School District 36 passed the Math portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 1,071 students in Winnetka School District 36 who took the Math portion of the test, approximately 753 (70.3%) passed.

The percentage of Winnetka School District 36 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 2.1% compared to the previous school year.

Winnetka School District 36 roughly covers five schools within Cook County and has a main office in Winnetka.

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses the progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
