Aris Garcia, who is running for Illinois state representative in District 49, said he was glad that Moms for America is endorsing his candidacy. Moms for America is a national organization pursuing "truth" and "family freedom."
Garcia expressed his pride over the endorsement in a Facebook post dated March 13. "I am proud to have received the endorsement from Moms for America, an organization that prides itself on conservative values, parental rights, freedom, and constitutionalism," he said.
Born in Germany and now a first-generation American citizen, Garcia announced his candidacy for State Representative with a commitment to address concerns he believes have been overlooked by the Democratic party. As a graduate of Central Florida Aerospace Academy, Garcia brings his perspective to politics, with an emphasis on tackling issues affecting education in his district.

In an assertion on his campaign website, Garcia stated: "I am running for State Representative because I believe the Democrats have failed our children and are actively destroying opportunities for the middle and lower classes."
According to its website, Moms for America aims to "empower mothers" to "raise patriots" and "promote liberty" as part of its mission to heal America. The group envisions building a national movement of moms promoting principles of liberty to restore the Republic and create a culture of truth, family, and freedom.
Ballotpedia notes that Garcia is pitted against Hannah Billingsley in his quest to secure the Republican nomination for House District 49.
Garcia identifies himself as an "unapologetic conservative." Along with education, his platform includes property and income taxes, local sales and curbing government spending. Other key areas include the Second Amendment, immigration, veterans' issues, and women’s rights. He focuses on school choice in education; pledges responsible spending within state government; and promises to "pressure" local officials to lower sales taxes.
