Village of Arlington Heights Committee-of-the-Whole met Feb. 5.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
President Hayes called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: President Hayes; Trustees Baldino, Bertucci, Dunnington, Grasse, LaBedz, Schwingbeck, and Tinaglia
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Trustee Shirley
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Village Manager Randy Recklaus
OTHERS PRESENT: Marc Poulos
A. Interview of Marc Poulos for appointment to the Arlington Economic Alliance Commission (Chamber member), term ending April 30, 2024.
The Mayor introduced Marc Poulos and stated that he is the Chairman of the Board for the Chamber of Commerce. He stated that Marc has been very involved in the community and thought many may already know Marc. Marc is filing the unfulfilled term of Jon Ridler who resigned earlier. When Marc’s term expires in April, he will be reappointed for the full three year term.
Trustees thanked Marc for his willingness to serve. Marc stated that he is a resident of Arlington Heights and has had a painting contractor business in Arlington Heights since 2012. Discussion ensued regarding the chamber member role and AEA. Marc said he hopes to act as a liaison between the two and open the doors for an exchange of information.
Trustee Bertucci moved to concur in the Mayor’s appointment of Marc Poulos for appointment to the Arlington Economic Alliance Commission (Chamber member) term ending April 30, 2024. Trustee Schwingbeck seconded the motion.
The following voice vote was recorded:

D. ADJOURNMENT – Trustee Tinaglia moved, seconded by Trustee Baldino to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 7:26 pm.
