Village of Northbrook Zoning Board of Appeals met Nov. 27.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

Please Note - Members of the public wishing to respectfully share thoughts about any matter concerning the Northbrook Zoning Board of Appeals may do so by coming to a meeting and speaking during the “Public Comment” time on general matters, or by speaking if and when comment is called on a specific matter that is listed on the agenda. Members of the public can also submit a written comment via the Village’s website. Each written comment submitted on the website will be delivered to each member of the Zoning Board of Appeals prior to the meeting but will not be read out loud at the meeting.

4. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING PETITION:

• DOCKET NO. ZBA23-0006 (1725 FERNDALE AVENUE) – Petition by Mark and Mary Beth Benner, for a variation to: Reduce the combined side yard setback from 19.57’ to 14.33’. The R-5 zoned property is commonly known as 1725 Ferndale Avenue (PIN No. 04-10-103-007-0000) and is the site of a single story home. The variation has been requested to construct a mud room and 2-car garage addition.

The decisions of the Northbrook Zoning Board of Appeals are final. Any appeal of this final administrative decision of the Village of Northbrook’s Zoning Board of Appeals must be in compliance with the Administrative Review Law, 735 ILCS 5/3-101 et seq and filed within 35 days from the date of the ZBA’s decision.

The Village of Northbrook is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
