A. Parks and Recreation Master Plan Overview Including Lords Park Family Aquatic Center Community Outreach Responses 

Objective: Parks and Recreation Director Maria Cumpata and SmithGroup consultant J Blue are providing an overview of the parks and recreation master plan, with Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Barb Keselica separately presenting on the responses generated from the focused community outreach relating to the Lords Park Family Aquatic Center.

B. Acceptance of Public Improvements and Easement within Site Located at 825 S. Randall Road (Menard, Inc.) ($618 estimated five-year maintenance cost) 

Objective: Fulfill the city’s obligation to maintain reliable infrastructure for serving busi nesses and residents.

C. Sidewalk Easement Acceptance on Lots 264, 265 and 267 within the Highland Woods Neighborhood H Subdivision (No Cost) 

Objective: Fulfill the city’s obligation to maintain reliable infrastructure for serving busi nesses and residents.

D. Millennium Park Playground Replacement Equipment ($137,783) 

Objective: Purchase the playground structure and fitness equipment for the Millennium Park rehabilitation.

E. Resolution Authorizing Filing of Application for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and De velopment (OSLAD) Grant for the Rehabilitation of Summerhill Park (No Cost) 

Objective: Rehabilitate Summerhill Park on the city’s east side using an OSLAD grant to off set fifty percent of the project’s cost.

F. Ordinance Prohibiting Sale or Delivery of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Products Within the City (No Cost) 

Objective: Provide the police department with enforcement measures to curb the prolifera tion of synthetically derived psychoactive substances containing THC.

G. ICOR Technology, Inc. Mini-CALIBER Robot Purchase ($68,370) 

Objective: Replace and upgrade current robotic equipment to ensure the availability of life saving options for officers to utilize during emergency situations.

H. Agreement with School District U-46 for the Continuation of School Resource Officers ($545,662) 

Objective: Provide a police presence within U-46 schools to promote student and staff safe ty and security.

I. School Crossing Guards Agreement with Andy Frain Services ($156,059) 

Objective: Provide school crossing guards at eleven locations in the city that are currently being staffed by police department personnel.

J. Action Plan to Complete Strategic Plan and for City Council and City Manager Goals (Councilmembers Steffen and Rauschenberger)

K. Discussion of Minutes of Meetings Lawfully Closed Under This Act - Exempt Under Section 120/2(c)(21) of the Open Meetings Act 

L. Collective Bargaining Issues or Deliberations Concerning Salary Schedules for One or More Classes of Employees – Exempt Under Section 120/2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act
