McHenry County Consolidated Election Day is three weeks away, on April 4

McHenry County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 349 candidates will compete for 134 municipal offices, including 42 contests for city and village, 40 for park, fire and library boards and 37 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last McHenry County Consolidated Election, it had 237,900 registered voters and 22,639 cast ballots, or 9.52 percent.

In the 2019 McHenry County Consolidated Election, it had 230,646 registered voters and 22,369 cast ballots, or 9.7 percent.
