Cook County Consolidated Election Day is four weeks away, on April 4

Cook County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 1833 candidates will compete for 648 municipal offices, including 176 contests for city and village, 234 for park, fire and library boards and 171 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Cook County Consolidated Election, it had 1,668,641 registered voters and 261,766 cast ballots, or 15.69 percent.

In the 2019 Cook County Consolidated Election, it had 1,603,193 registered voters and 225,973 cast ballots, or 14.1 percent.
